ADVOCATE: Lawyer on Team for BR Pastor Tests Positive (COVID-19)

According to the Advocate, a lawyer on the team for Baton Rouge pastor Tony Spell tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) and is currently hospitalized.

If you remember, Pastor Spell defied stay-at-home and social distancing orders from Governor Edwards as he continued to hold services at his church in Central, Louisiana.

The Advocate named attorney Jeff Wittenbrink, 59, as the infected individual. The story quotes him saying that he goes to a grocery store twice a day (who even goes to the grocery store twice a day, every day?), Sam's, Walmart, and the filling station, but has no clue how he contracted the disease. He does admit, though, that he wasn't careful and that he hopes he didn't spread the disease to others.

Wittenbrink is a lawyer for Roy Moore of Alabama, formerly on the Supreme Court there and a disgraced candidate for Senate (something about dating underaged girls). He was in Baton Rouge, at Spell's church, at the pulpit, ranting against the orders issued by Governor Edwards. Roy Moore is representing Tony Spell. Why is a lawyer from Alabama representing a pastor from Louisiana?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, we would never hope this disease on anyone, and we certainly hope that no one in the congregation contracts the coronavirus due to the negligence of their pastor.
