Perhaps because Adele keeps her personal life so private it would be a surprise to no one that a memoir penned by the songstress would make big bucks. Unfortunately for fans, Adele turned down a seven-figure book deal from Harper Collins because she's too young to write a memoir... just yet.

A source told The Mirror, "Adele’s never been a really showy person. So it was always going to take a lot to get her to write her life story anyway." We think the timing has to be more right than the pay day, it seems Adele isn't going to be one to lay down her life story just for a big pay day, her music keeps her bills paid just fine.

The source continued, "But even though she received a lucrative offer, her primary concern was that she doesn’t want to write a book about just 24 years. She feels she’d rather wait until she has more life experience to write about. She’d never say never, but she did say ‘not now.'" With all the Hollywood crazies out and about these days, it's nice to know Adele has a good head fastened to those shoulders. We couldn't agree with her more!

At 24-years-old, Adele has lived through more stuff than some people twice her age, but we agree that it doesn't give her enough life experience to fill up a whole book, not to mention offering a wise perspective only people of a certain age can give.

This isn't the first rumor of Adele turning down deals that are worth big bucks. There was word that the 'Skyfall' songstress was being approached by cosmetic companies to represent their brands. Not to mention the alleged bidding war among TV networks to get Adele to do a Beyonce-style documentary.

We give props to Adele for having the limelight on her own terms. Go girl!
