The drummer of the legendary rock band AC/DC has been charged with attempting to hire a hitman for a contract double murder. Yahoo News reports, police raided the coastal New Zealand home of 60 year old Phil Rudd early Thursday morning. Rudd faces additional charges, resulting from methamphetamine, and Cannabis being found in his home. He joined the legendary rock band in 1975. There was an acrimonious departure in 1983. He rejoined the band in 1994. AC/DC has sold more than 200 million albums, and is about to release a new album, "Rock or Bust" December 2nd. The band stated on its Facebook page,  "We've only become aware of Phil's arrest as the news was breaking. We have no further comment. Phil’s absence will not affect the release of our new album Rock or Bust and upcoming tour next year."
