Robin Roberts of ABC's "Good Morning America" may live and work in New York City, but the Gulf Coast Native, and proud member of Who 'Dat Nation will be pulling for the Black & Gold When the Saints take on the New York Jets this Sunday.

Roberts is a native of Pass Christian, Mississippi. Sports have always been a passion for the former ESPN sportscaster. She played basketball & tennis in high school, and was offered a scholarship to play basketball at LSU. Roberts declined, opting for Southeastern Louisiana, where she graduated Cum Laude. She majored in communications, and began her broadcasting career in Hattiesbug, moving on to WWL in New Orleans. Roberts' sister Sally-Ann still works there. She joined ESPN in 2001, transferring to sister Disney property, ABC in 2005. She's survived two bouts with cancer, most recently last year. Roberts appeared in a promotional segment for the NFL, "Why do You Love Football?"
