A Portion Of Louisiana Highway 686 To Close For Work

There willl be a portion of Louisiana Highway 686  in St. Martin Parish that will close next week, while officials to work on the roadway.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says the road closure will start at 7 o'clock this coming Monday morning (12/4/17) and will last through 5 in the evening on Friday (12/8/17).

The section of roadway on Highway 686 (Coteau Rodiare Highway) which will be closed will be between Louisiana Highway 737 (North Portage Road) and Robert Mallet Road.

If you're looking for another way to go, you can detour using Coteau Rodiare Highway and the Bushville Highway (Louisiana Highway 347).

The only thing that would prevent the work from being done next week would be bad weather.

DOTD ask drivers to be cautious in all work zones.
