A Night To Shine: A Special Prom For Special People

One Church Acadiana is hosting the Tim Tebow Foundation’s A Night to Shine, February 8, 2019, at 6 PM.

A Night to Shine is a prom night for those with special needs: kids that may not be able to experience the traditional prom night.

In 2018, A Night to Shine had over 150 participants that had the night of their lives.  They arrive in limos and are greeted by paparazzi.  Then the participants spend the night dancing, singing karaoke and having the time of their lives.  At the end of the night, each participant is crowned king or queen of the prom.

One Church Acadiana is in need of volunteers for the event in areas ranging from food and beverage service to hair and makeup for the prom-goers.
