There's lots of bewilderment, anger and sorrow these days after the murder of Louisiana State Trooper Steven Vincent, the tragic deaths in Sunset and the senseless killings at the Lafayette movie theater. On today's 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, let's stop the politics and the pity and honor the lives of those who were lost. Nearly two-thousand real people died as a direct result of the storm; countless others died in the following years, in part, because of the heartbreak and stress caused by sorrow and loss. This song by Stephanie Rainey called "Please Don't Go" wasn't dedicated to them, but it will touch your heart if you've ever lost someone you loved. May all those who died too soon Rest in Peace.
