Remember watching MacKenzie Bourg on 'The Voice' last year and, if you're from Lafayette, Louisiana, from various shows and benefits around town? He released his new single 'Everybody's Got a Story' a couple of weeks ago - you can get it on iTunes, and the video just came out! I'm not sure what the imagery meansâ€
We've been part of the Mack Pack for years, but his appearance on Season Three of 'The Voice' brought him to national attention.
Following her tragic death from a self-inflicted gunshot, Mindy McCready became the fifth alum of 'Celebrity Rehab' -- which later had a name change to 'Rehab With Dr. Drew' -- to die in an untimely manner since appearing on the show.
Obviously, this doesn't make Dr. Drew Pinsky look too good.
Lafayette's own MacKenzie Bourg has announced that his debut single "Everyone's Got a Story" will be released on iTunes!
In the second night of 'American Idol' audition episodes, the panel took their talents -- and their talent -- to the Windy City.
Hollywood has its Golden Globes and its Oscars, but us humbler folks have the Razzies, an awards show created to honor the very worst in cinema. From painful movies to pathetic acting, the Razzies have spent more than three decades punishing the worst of the worst with a $5 award that's glamorously spray-painted gold.
And this year, there was one clear frontrunner in the list of nominees: 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.'
Lafayette's MacKenzie Bourg, who represented Louisiana and his hometown so well on NBC's 'The Voice' has released a new video for Christmas!
One of the 'surprises' about MacKenzie Bourg (Lafayette native and recent contestant on NBC's "The Voice") is the fact that he is packing more voice than what it seems his frame allows for.
Emotions ran high last night as the votes were announced, and, unfortunately, MacKenzie Bourg did not garner enough votes to make it to the next round. (If you watch the video, and want to 'skip' to see Mac, scroll 7/8 of the way to the end!!)
But, let's think about this before we all wallow in our gumbo:
Tonight’s installment of ‘The Voice’ (Nov. 8) – also known as the live elimination round – determined who has moved on to the top 12 and who was sent home. America voted for two winners from each team, and the coaches were left with the difficult task to pick their third contestant.
Let's Elect Lafayette's MackKenzie Bourg as 'The Voice'!
