Sometimes basics are the best. Sometimes, it's fun to improvise. Over the weekend, I did a remote broadcast, at which they were barbecuing burgers. I put 2 patties on a bun and ate it like that. No cheese, no ketchup, mustard, or mayo. It was great! Today, it was a different story. Avocados add a great, unique flavor to anything. I decided to try it on a cheeseburger. I started w 1/2 lb. of ground sirloin, and seasoned it with some Slap Ya' Mama. I smashed an avocado with a fork, and spread it on a slice of whole wheat bread. I broiled the burger, and topped it with a slice of raw onion, and 2 slices of Colby jack cheese & a few dashes of Tobasco chipotle'. Give it a  try. Add your own touches!
