Lafayette’s Team Phenomena Demonstrated Their Robot At Raising Cane’s

Team Phenomena (aka FIRST Robotics Team 3616), is a group of approximately forty high school students from several area schools who work together and compete in robotics. They're based at Comeaux High School and will be participating in the FIRST Robotics project again this school year. They'll find out what the 2015 game is in January and will then begin to design, build and operate their robot. As I'm sure you can imagine, an activity like this requires a lot of funding, which comes mostly from donations. These young people do several fundraisers throughout the year with some help from generous businesses including Raising Cane's, Sonic, O'Charley's and more. On Tuesday, October 21, the team was out in full force at Raising Cane's on Kaliste Saloom demonstrating their winning 2014 robot and collecting 15% on orders placed at the restaurant.
