This August 29 marks the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.  A decade has passed since the country's most devastating hurricane hit New Orleans, La.

Katrina wreaked havoc on the Louisiana gulf coast causing death, destruction and destroying what many Louisiana citizens had worked so hard for all of their lives.

Wind, rain, flooding and the worst civil engineering disaster in history can still be seen from Morgan City, Louisiana to Biloxi, Mississippi.  Even though New Orleans has bounced back quite well currently seeing a record number of tourists, the memories for many are still very real.
