7-Year-Old Writes To NASA; NASA Responds

Dexter, a 7-year-old boy, wrote a letter to NASA to inquire about being a candidate for a visit to Mars, and NASA responded.

Dexter's letter to NASA:

Dexter's return address was edited out of the photograph before it was uploaded to Imgur, but it looks like the bottom half of the word "England" is still visible.  I think that it is great that NASA not only responded, but did so with Dexter's best interests in mind.

Along with a few pictures, a sticker and a really smashing bookmark, NASA's letter included encouraging words for young Dexter:

"continue to learn all you can" and "keep reaching for the stars".

Thank you, NASA, for making the little boy's heart inside of me beam with pride!!
