6th Annual ‘Stir the Pot’ Seafood Cook-Off and Festival is Saturday

Palmetto Island State Park will sponsor the 6th annual 'Stir the Pot' Seafood Cook Off and Festival will be held on Saturday, April 2. This is a family friendly event from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and features not only great food in a beautiful natural environment, but a chance for you to purchase a tasting bracelet for all you can eat delicious seafood for only $5! Fresh Louisiana seafood is the focus for this all day festival, which benefits Palmetto Island State Park.

Native arts and crafts will be demonstrated throughout the day, and Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin' Cajuns will perform from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Admission is $5 for adults, with kids 3 and under free. Palmetto Island State Park is located off of Hwy 82, south of Abbeville.
