We sailed from Avalon on July 5, 2014 to see the fireworks at Two Harbors aboard the Catallac catamaran from Afishonados Charters. Two Harbors is named as such because it's located at the isthmus on Catalina Island. The harbor on the East side (facing Los Angeles) is called Catalina Harbor and the harbor on the West (facing Japan) is called Isthmus Cove. It's about a ten minute walk across the isthmus from one harbor to the other. It's also famous because it's the place where Natalie Wood mysteriously died in 1981. The video is sped up so you can watch the 15 minute fireworks show in less than five minutes.
