3rd Annual ‘Shake Your Tail Feather’

The 3rd annual Shake Your Tail Feather event is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th  at Parc des Ponts de Pont Breaux (Bridge Park) in Breaux Bridge.

Developed by The T.E.C.H.E. Project, a non-profit organization working to increase awareness of the historical, cultural, environmental, and recreational values of the Bayou Teche, Shake Your Tail Feather is a festival that raises funds to create projects and maintain facilities along the Bayou Teche Paddle Trail. Shake Your Tail Feather begins at noon on October 18th and is free, though the T.E.C.H.E. Project will be selling an official festival pin for $5 to raise funds for the Bayou Teche Paddle Trail.

Food, beverages, and merchandise will be available for purchase, as well as live music. Featured artists include David Greely and Meagan Brown, Soul Creole, and Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie. A Heritage Stage will host historical and cultural interviews and a variety of cultural and artistic demonstrations.
