2 Teens Arrested After Allegedly Smoking Marijuana On The Porch

17-year-old Tyrese Davonta Carter and 18-year-old Kane Joseph Wyatt, both of Lafayette, are behind bars after police officers were told they were smoking marijuana on the porch of a home in the 400 block of Hilda Street.

Both were booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on additional charges.

Carter was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute Sch. I (marijuana), Monies Derived, Possession of Firearm in the presence of CDS and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Wyatt was arrested for Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearm.
