2 Arrests Made In Connection With Butte Larose Burglaries

22-year-old Richard Devyn Johnson of Catahoula and 24-year-old Zachary Johnson of Youngsville have both been arrested for allegedly burglarizing vehicles and camps in the Butte Larose area a little over a week ago.

St. Martin Sheriff's investigators say the suspects allegedly wrecked a stolen pickup truck shortly after one of their early morning burglaries on Saturday, November 17. After fleeing on foot, the Catahoula man was arrested four days later, while the Youngsville man was arrested Monday morning.

Each man has been charged with 1 count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things and 2 counts of Principal to Simple Burglary, and additional charges are pending in both St. Martin and Lafayette Parishes.
